These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between olufayo consturction (“Company,” “we,” us,” or “our”) and the client (“Client,” “you”) regarding construction services, consultations, and the use of our website.
The Agreement: The specific details of your project (the "Work") will be defined in a signed Proposal or Contract. These Terms are incorporated into that agreement.
Change Orders: Any requests to deviate from the original Scope of Work must be documented in writing and may result in additional costs and timeline extensions.
To ensure a smooth project, the Client agrees to:
Provide clear access to the property during agreed-upon working hours.
Secure all necessary approvals from HOAs, historical boards, or neighbors (unless otherwise stipulated in the project contract).
Disclose any known hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, lead, mold) on the property prior to the start of work.
Unforeseen Conditions: If we encounter hidden issues (e.g., structural rot, underground rock formations, or outdated wiring) not visible during the initial estimate, work may be paused until a revised plan is agreed upon.
Force Majeure: [Company Name] is not liable for delays caused by "Acts of God" (extreme weather, natural disasters), global supply chain disruptions, or government-mandated shutdowns.
Worksite Safety: Construction sites are active, dangerous environments. Clients and unauthorized persons must remain clear of the active work zone. [Company Name] is not liable for injuries sustained by persons entering the site without prior authorization.
Insurance: We maintain general liability and worker’s compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Workmanship: We provide a limited warranty on workmanship for a period of [e.g., 1 Year] from the date of substantial completion.
